Horrible Transducer Quality

Transducer did even last 10mths of normal use. Poor Quality.

I got this unit as a gift for an annual canoe trip. It worked for 4 days of a 7 day trip before the control unit failed. To their credit they replaced it even though I was past the warranty period, unfortunately the second unit failed in the same manner on the first trip I went on. When it worked I found it to be a great unit, and their customer service was excellent. Unfortunately I did not have any luck with this product.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Mounted it to my 14’ Jon boat rear transom and display on the back seat bench. Wired it to a atv cell battery. Couldn’t be happier.

Q: Can the transducer me mounted inside the hull of a fiberglass boat?

  • A: Although the XNT 9 28 T is typically designed for the transom, it can be mounted inside the hull as long as the hull material is fiberglass no more than one inch thick. We recommend using a 2 part, 24 hour slow cure epoxy.
