    I wasn't really happy with the service the kid showed me rod and reel combos over double the price of this rod and said that was all they had. So when I got home I searched them up and they had combos for the same price of the rod. I should of took it back. Anyway rod is fine just pricey .

    I’ve purchased other ice rods from Canadian tire, and these performed as expected. I’ve never had any issues. I bought a Medium Action and a Medium Heavy Action, as i was targeting both Pickerel and Northern Pike. I was able to pair them with spare reels and 12lb test line. Again no issues, performed as expected.

    Good Quality Ice Rod

    Took some getting used to. Especially the slip collar reel holder, but has now become one of my go to ice rods for jumbo perch!

    Good medium weight ice fishing rod.

    Good medium weight ice fishing rod for walleye. Only has slip on collars to hold the reel but a bit of hockey tape fixed that.
