I purchased this treadmill and brought it home and the first one was dead on arrival. After a huge hassle Canadian Tire agreed to exchange it. I got the new one home and after a week or so the incline malfunctioned. I reached out to the manufacturer and they said it was under warranty but couldn't find a repair person in my area realistically and couldn't fulfill the warranty fully. They sent me parts and I had to fix it myself. Now I'm having a new issue which is a manufacturing defect and they are saying tough luck your just outside warranty. I don't recommend spending your hard earned dollars on these. The company is impossible to deal with. when u call in the calls are often disconnected and they don't put customer service first. the customer service center is not local and staff have little understanding on what they are doing. Just don't do it. Learn from my experience! Not worth it!

Don’t buy - Highly Disappointed

I am highly disappointed and frustrated with my Horizon T-101 treadmill. The incline motor blew up just 14 months after purchase—barely two months after the warranty ended. When I contacted support, they told me the incline motor is no longer covered, even though this is clearly a major component failure.
To make things worse, the replacement incline motor costs around $250, plus the labor costs to install it. Altogether, I’m looking at spending almost half the price of the entire unit just to fix something that should never have failed this soon.
I expected better quality and better support. I won’t be buying Horizon again and would not recommend the T-101 to anyone.

A: The machine has a normal sound. For me it’s not noisy, but it will depend where you install it. I just have one day using it.

A: Generally, the cheaper the treadmill the costlier the treadmill will be because you will need to service it on a more regular basis. Chances are you will need to purchase again in 2 years' time. I would highly recommend that you spend more money, as well make sure the company has the ability to send out a service provider to cover any warranties

A: Hello! Thank you for checking. We recommend moving the unit as a whole, preferably while still in box. Please reference your owner's manual for additional assembly instructions. Please see excerpt below: "Never open box when it is upside down or on its side. Once the red banding straps have been removed, do not lift or transport this unit unless it is fully assembled and in the upright folded position, with the lock latch secure. Unpack and assemble the unit where it will be used."

Q: With my old horizon treadmill, in order to lubricate the belt I had to loosen the belt so much that it was more than a pain in the butt to align the belt again. How is this one for lubrication services?

A: Of course, I can't comment on your old treadmill, but this one is lubricated by loosening the belt and applying the lube under it. Doesn't seem to be an easier way.
