Great treadmill

I was surprised at how steady and quiet this treadmill is for running. It was easy to assemble, with a little help for the heavier parts, and it operates well. The only thing to note is that the handles have the speed and incline controls in them, which is fine until you you hit them accidentally while running and the treadmill speeds up on you. Otherwise no complaints at all. Would definitely recommend.

A: To change from miles/pounds to kilometers/kilograms, press and hold the Incline Up (+) and Speed Down (-) keys simultaneously, navigate to ENG3, select P1, choose "kilometers" or "kilograms," and then press and hold Stop to save and exit.

Q: What is the height of the running platform? I have low ceilings in my basement and want to make sure it’ll have clearance for running.

A: The floor to ceiling in our basement is 87" and the height of the running platform is about 10"...My husband is 6'2" and he is fine with the height allowance. I hope this helps.

Q: Do the pulse rate grips need to be installed for the treadmill to properly function?

A: I thought that they seemed to be in an awkward position based on the pictures but they really aren’t in the way for the usage at all. They do have dials to quick adjust the speed and incline on them. I installed mine so I am not sure certain if not having them on would affect the functionality of the treadmill. I can say I didn’t think I would use them but the quick adjust feature is quite handy.

A: The warranty is lifetime, but they don't respond to warranty requests. I have one that I've been trying to get help from them on for months, sent them everything they asked for, it's registered for the warranty, maintained exactly as the book recommends, but they just ignore you. Buy something else. This is junk.

Q: Horizon 7.0AT-04. Right pulse grip handle bar doesn't work so there's no quick speed (and half-speed) adjustment. Plugged/unplugged corresponding connectors underneath the console but still no joy. Speed buttons on the console works though.
