Hoover Quality is Terrible. First and last Hoover purchase.

Purchased year ago. Didn't use. then took out off box to use. motor comes on but doesn't expell water. Hoover refuses to replace or fix without receipt even though box sticker shows delivery to Canadian tire Dec 2019 and this product has two year warranty and brand new with packing. Total warranty sham. Buy Bissel instead.

Works great for as long as it lasts

This machine works great while it lasts. I decided to splurge and purchase this machine instead of purchasing the cheaper one. Within 6 months the tab was broken on the attachment and now it just quit. It will not turn on. I am assuming it’s a faulty switch and you cannot buy parts for it. I will not spend a lot of money on this again the cheaper models last much longer

Decent Spot Cleaner

Easy to use, does a good job, and doesn't leave carpets/upholstery wet (they'll be damp after you use this, but that's to be expected). It's definitely for spot jobs as the tank is small, but that almost makes it easy to carry around and store.

Worked 8 times then stopped. It was still under warranty. Everyone should know you have to pay for shipping if the heavy unit back to Hoover to get a new one. So you are out of pocket.

Q: does it have a heater for the cleaning solution?

A: No, and really the other brand doesn't either. The other brand if you researched it isn't an actual heater element which you would think it were. No it circulates the water that is it. So it's only as warm as the water you put in as with each brand. In comparison this brand includes a hose clean out cycle which until others mimick has a better feature in my opinion. If it matters my water stays hot through out my cleaning session on this unit thanks due to the fact your tank size isn't huge like a commercial unit so being unheated is a moot point.
