14yrs 9machines = same defect or would be 5 star
a month ago
16 years 9 machines same defect every 1.5 to 2 yrs. Love machine ( 4 others bought because loved mine) Ceramic or sealed concrete floors. Each & everyone about 2nd year around warranty expire time it leaks excessivly (#3,4 & 5 clean containers run water thru to see if cleaner breaking down seals.. no) cleaned canisters after each use.. 6,7,8 just bought new one. #9 i decided to email for warranty... response do x,y,z I did it 6 times before emailing originally ("trigger issue") (instructions online). No dice.
Reply back to hoover, take it to repair shop 30 min from us and limited open hours.
I wish their engineers would fix this obviously defective design/part.. and not make it such a difficult process to get help on the defect that has been an issue for them for decades.
5 star product if same defect did not occur approx every 2 years.

Worthless.

I bought this two days ago and just put it together. Fallowed all directions and removed all cardboard. This machine will not release any water. I have to pour water on the floor. It’s a useless machine. Save your money and purchase a good mop and bucket. I’ll be returning this product tomorrow.

Disappointed

I bought the Powerdash Pet Carpet CleanerIN November/24 this week it just stopped retrieving the solution back out the carpet have only used it 4 times cleaned all areas as mentioned in user guide, still poor

Leaky

I bought 2 last year. One for me and one for my daughter in law. Hers started leaking all over right from the start, and she won't use it because of that. It made a huge gross mess. Mine just started leaking both the dirty water and the clean water tank. Like the whole container of water all over the floor. Thank goodness it wasn't on the carpet when it started that. I went to look at the part you screw onto the clean water tank to see if it was a bad seal and it fell apart!! Oh and yes it is extremely hard to clean, taking it apart to clean it super inconvenient and hard as heck to put back together. Not happy about either one. It's been under a year on both

I would suggest the Hoover® ONEPWR™ Cordless Multi-Surface Wet/Dry Vac FloorMate Jet, this model is designed to clean/wash multiple sealed surfaces including hardwoods, tile, laminate and also refreshes area rugs.
