    Keep your money in the bank

    I started to have problems with the battery about 3 months after I had it. I have been in contact with Hoover since and today I was informed due to the lack of a receipt they can't not help. I have visa bill, box all papers that come with it but no help. The battery lasts about 5 minutes even though I charged it the way Hoover has advised me to do so. I have hardwood floors and one area rug. I can only do the hardwood floor and then the rug at a later time. Terrible customer service and no help at all.

    Broke down in 3 months

    Spend the extra dollars and buy a Dyson. Our Hoover Linx started leaving a trail of dirt behind it after three months. Exchanges are limited to thirty days. The warranty, while good for 2 years, isn’t convenient as we need a vacuum cleaner today. We are now buying a Dyson, we should have followed our instincts originally.

    Lightweight, effective vacuum

    I'm delighted with this small vacuum! It has a surprising amount of vacuum power and easily picks up crumbs, dirt, and small debris. It is extremely lightweight and maneuverable. The ideal use is small condos or spot cleaning in areas such as the kitchen, dining room, or hallways. My parents' carpet has a thick, long pile (not quite as long as shag carpet). I regularly vacuum the carpet and am often surprised by the amount of material collected. The vacuum head, however, is too small for a large home but I highly recommend this vacuum for cleaning small areas. Incidentally, the appearance is really attractive - sleek and somewhat retro! The only drawback is replacing the bin once its contents have been discardeed. It's a little tricky... insert the lower part first, then install the upper part. Overall, a useful tool and a pleasure to use.

    Terrible Battery

    Battery only lasted one year. Replacement battery received under warranty only lasted one year. I am not comfortable disposing of this vacuum after two years. I really like this vacuum so it is unfortunate Hoover does not offer a replacement battery at a decent price.
