Easy to use. In a 200 sq ft room you have to close the door to get more than 40% humidity.

Terrible product

Bought this product 3 months ago and although it doesn’t require filters, the intake valve at the bottom of the tank clogs and must be
cleaned nearly every use. I’d rather have to buy filters. It stopped working within these 3 months. There’s a reason they’re on clearance. Terrible product.

I am satisfied and happy with the product. For the most part it is silent. I prefer to use it with warm water rather than cold. I only recently purchased it at Canadian Tire, and since then the price I paid has dropped. I am hoping Canadian Tire will honour a refund for the difference. I am planning to purchase another humidifier for another room.

A: Thank you for your inquiry. Ultrasonic humidifiers can create white dust if there are too many minerals in your water. The HDC500C will absorb the minerals in the water that passes through it, reducing the chance the unit will generate white dust if you have hard water. The PC-1C-BX is a cleaning cartridge that kills bacteria and mold spores in the water, and helps increase the health of your humidifier. The H10C is a humidity monitor to help you know when your room is at a comfortable level of humidity. All of these are optional items that can be purchased and used with this humidifier.
