Q: Light keeps flashing even after I changed the filter. Help

  • A: After changing filters the lights still flashing:  To reset this light, press and hold the Check Filter button for 2 seconds. If humidifier is unplugged, the 30 day counter will start over.  Hope this helps !

Q: I bought this 2 months ago and for the 1st month it was fantastic staying around 50%. Now it won’t go above 40% and I’m back to itchy skin and static everywhere.  I’ve fully cleaned it twice and I’m on the 3rd filter to try to get it back to 50. Any tips?

  • A: I had this problem when I got ours as well. To stop this, I flip the filter up-to-down and front-to-back every morning. It keeps the whole filter wet and the water wicking through. I also change the filter every two weeks. When you install a new filter, make sure it is totally soaked before putting the filter and basket back into the machine. These steps have made the humidifier a really reliable machine.

Q: I have recently purchased this humidifier and have been running it now for a week! Is it normal for the humidity readout to fluctuate +- by 2-3 percent? Also it seems to fluctuate on and off quite a bit from low fan setting to medium fan setting.

  • A: Yes it will fluctuate depending on the humidity that is in the room that it is in. Mine runs 24/7, don't know about the fan settings mine is set at 35% but think that again would depend on how much humidity is in the air, inside and outside.

Q: Water tank is not emptying into reservoir! Float is installed correctly and the plunger valve in tank moves freely but water won't flow into reservoir. What's going on? I don't live near a Canadian Tire so its difficult to return. Hope someone can help.
