Q: There is a patch of mold on my bedroom ceiling. I know the machine won't remove the mold, but will it remove it from the air I am breathing at night?
a year agoA: Mold can be very dangerous and often goes much deeper than you can see. I would recommend having someone come remove and inspect for cause. Mold removal may even be covered by insurance.

Q: How does it work for cigarette smoke?

The carbon pre-filter layer will also help reduce some of the gases created by cigarette smoke. Q: Why is it when I put in a new and correct filter and push reset filter button the red light still stays on? filter

Q: Does it filter mold @ mildew
3 years agoA: I am not an expert on HEPA filters but their job is to filter out (or trap in the filter) dust, pollen, microbes/bacteria, and mold if it is airborne. Note: This will not remove the mildew from the walls or from surfaces.

Q: Would this filter out fragrances, e.g. perfume? I have severe chemical sensitivities and can't be around any fragrances. I am desperate for a solution to keep my shared house fragrance-free. Would this be a good option, at least for one room?
7 years agoA: Thank you for your inquiry. This air purifier is rated to remove allergens from the air. However, the carbon pre-filter will remove some of the odors and VOCs from the air. This may not remove all of the fragrance from perfume from the air. Q: Effective without Ionize feature? I am curious as to how well this will work without the Ionize feature ever being used. Will this help with pollen and dander, without the ionize feature?
