Overall generally great small space heater

Works great for the small space i use it in. Having the option to go by the thermostat, on a timer or just on is great! Would be nice if i coukd set it on low and the thermostat controls and the tip over safety system is very sensitive, but better safe than sorry

Q: is it a temperature sensing unit? I mean, lets say we have set 20 degress celcius on it. so does it turn off/on automatically when the room temperature goes above/below the set tempeature. Because the bad reviews suggests something else.

A: I posted a detailed review on 2022-01-09, about my own experience with the current version of the HCE351C heater.. I included my name, but the review system changed it to 'Anonymous'.. A properly designed heater SHOULD turn off when the desired/set temperature has been reached, and on again without much drop in temp.. For ME and what turns out to be a couple of dozen other folks who posted reviews here, this did not happen.. IMNSHO, this heater model should have been recalled..

Q: Why does the thermostat function only work on high setting? I want to use the thermostat while on the quieter low setting. Or do I have a defective unit?

A: Yes, the thermostat only works in the high setting. Not sure why as it would be nice if it worked for both!

Q: Is the fan supposed to stay running all the time even when the heating element is off? Fans are for cooling. I thought I bought a heater.

A: The fan will continue to run to cool the heating unit down then it should shut off.

Q: We bought 2 of these heaters last year for two of our kids rooms. They worked great last year. Now we have pulled them out again and they don’t seem to sense the drop in temperature and kick back in after the initial temp set up. Does anyone know why?

Q: Why does the current total number of reviews for this item [114] disagree with where the page says "54 out of 81 (67%) reviewers recommend this product" ? Should it not instead say that 54 of 114 recommend it, and a lower % figure ? Strange math !

Q: We bought this unit to heat up our nursery and have found the beeping off/on to be extremely loud. When using the thermostat function the unit beeps loudly when activating to heat the room. Is there a way to silence or mute this function?
