Not just for hunting

Bought this pulley system and used it to raise an A/C unit to allow for a cement pad to be poured under it. Did the job nicely without the need for disconnecting/reconnecting A/C lines. I Only give it 4 stars as the rope supplied is not the best quality and is hard on the bare hands. This rope is also a bit difficult to release out of the metal stop, as it is squeezed in. I'll be upgrading the rope and will use another short piece of quality rope to make a prusik knot for load capture rather than metal stop. Well worth the price for for 4 : 1 pulley system with a 500 lb limit

This is a great unit but Canadian Tire should look into selling just the hoist portion of it separately. I damaged one and had to buythe kit including the gambrel. They sell the gambrel on its own.

A: Not sure how long it is exactly, but it's long. I have an 11 foot ceiling in my garage and there is lots left over.
