Product Details

These shorter hex nuts, called jam nuts, are perfect for when space is limited. At half the height of a standard nut, they can be compressed against another nut to lock two parts together securely. Use them anywhere a standard nut won't fit, like tightening facing materials. The zinc plating gives some protection against corrosion for general applications. Be sure to predrill holes and use washers and bolts of a similar grade to ensure a strong connection.
