Hillman Bolts I like them

This review is not on the product only, but on the customer service at the returns/exchange counter, Kirkland store. On the Monday past, I bought a box (Qty 100) of 5/16-18 nuts. As I began using them for my project I was having trouble getting some on the matching bolt. Further inspection with a thread gage showed about 75 of them were actually 5/16-24, the right diameter but wrong thread pitch. I could not use them. I use what I could and brought the box back to the store, with the remaining 5/16-24 nuts. Mel sent me back to the hardware area to the get a new box, which Mel would exchange. Unfortunately, Ben, the fellow in the department, did his best, but could not find any , although they were suppose to be in stock. I went back to the counter and Mel told me I could not get a credit, as some of the nuts had been used. Mel suggested I go to another store and exchange them there. I told Mel I did not want to drive, nor did I believe I should. I asked Mel to have them sent here (Kirkland) and call me when they arrive. Apparently, Canadian Tire doesn't do that. I left the store. It's newly renovated, but customer service hasn't changed. I won't be back.
