Lids don’t fit

I’ve been using these pans for years and have always given these a 5 star rating I recently purchased 2 with lids and the lids don’t fit or sit properly on either pan! Very disappointing! Take the package apart before purchasing to make sure the lids fit properly.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Good day, Thank you for contacting us. They are normally very resistant to cook top heat. If you put them in the oven, they will get hot. The ones with Bakelite around the handles are oven safe up to 350 degree as these complete stainless steel handle are oven safe up to 450 degree.

Q: Is this finish a ceramic finish??? I assumed the Rock was a reference to the ceramic finish but I do not seem to see that in the info? Is this PTFE product?? or ?? they are very non stick but are they toxic? I will look forward to your reply. Joe P Brown

A: To answer your question, this is a Teflon pan (a brand name for polytetrafluoroethylene). Info on the package of Heritage The Rock pans is purposefully elusive. I also thought they had a non-teflon based coating. Not so.

A: Good Day, As per your question, yes, this pan contains PTFE. The PTFE and PFOA used in the fabrication of the non-stick coating are chemically inert. The PTFE is a tender deformable material and is semi crystalline, opaque, white and alimentary. Pure PTFE is FDA (Food and Drug Administration) conforming.
