The Rock 2-pan set

I’ve used the Rock pans for years and these from Canadian Tire are good. I like the handles which are solid and the non-stick easy to clean characteristic of the pans. The 2-pan sale sold me on the purchase.

Q: What is the black coating inside the pan that comes on brand new pans? Is it safe to wash off and use the pan still?

A: Hello, I have owned and used these pans many months now and I have found them to be the very best. I don't know what the coating is and, I don't care. Just follow the usage instructions and you will find that they cook whatever you want; eggs, meats, veggies and more. They wash up easier than any pans that I have used before. I use them regularly and I enjoy cooking ( and eating) so, I would recommend them to anybody who appreciates good fry pans. You want to wash them with soap and water using a non-abrasive cloth ( scraping is not required)

A: They’re pretty tough - my husband puts them in the oven, has used metal on them so they take a beating. I think they should probably do ok on the propane camping stove.

A: I have used under broiler for a very short time..and it worked for what I was browning. Although metal handle gets extremely hot.

A: Good day it has a flat bottom but an alumunium ring around it. As with every cookware, if using a ceramic stovetop, lift the pan rather than sliding it across the glass plate.

A: Hello, Metal conduct heat, so if the handle is over an element, it will get hot, but if you are cooking under normal settings, that the pan covers the heating element completely, the handle will not get extremely hot, no worries. Have a nice day!
