Excellent Pancake Pan

Great for perfect pancakes! Low sides make flipping easy, non-stick coating is good but does better with a small drop of oil. This is my second one, and I have learned to keep the heat low to avoid warping. The first one lasted close to 8 years, but some high heat incidents caused it to warp and some burnt oil ruined the non-stick.

We have had several of this type of pan. The cooking surface is much better and easier to wash.
Only complaint is the wire style handle becomes very hot.

"Warp resistant" pan is malformed from factory

This pan is labelled as warp resistant and yet it is already warped or malformed coming from the factory. I put it on my stove and there's a wobble, I thought maybe it's the stove but I checked my other fry pans and pots, all Lagostina purchased from Canadian Tire years ago. None of them woble, they all have flat bottoms after more than a decade of use on different stoves. I am so disappointed, I had bought this specifically to make crepes. If the bottom doesn't all contact the stove, then the heat in the pan will not be distributed evenly.

A: It doesn’t get hot if the handle is off to the side away from the burner. It only becomes hot if it’s directly over the flame. When I use my pan I don’t need to use an oven-mitt.

A: Good day, The Rock coating contains no PFOA, PFAS, lead, cadmium, or nickel and is approved by the Health Canada regulations and is completely safe.

A: Good day, Thank you for your question. It is preferable to handwash in warm soapy water. For stain removal, make a paste of vinegar and baking soda and scrub with this. Please note that The Rock cookware is meant to be used on low to mediuum heat setting.
