Solid knife blades, somewhat small handles

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The knife edges are nice and sharp and hold an edge really well, but the steak knife handles a a bit small, and the Santoku knife doesn't have a curve between the inside hook of the blade and the handle, so it can be a bit uncomfortable on your index. The knives are on the lighter side, which may or may not be good, depending on who you are. Overall really nice knives though.

Q: dishwasher safe?

A: The Classic Forged Cutlery Set is dishwasher safe. This means that the dishwasher should not negatively affect the knife handles, or have an aesthetic impact on the look of the blades. However, we do not recommend that our customers wash their fine kitchen knives in the dishwasher. 1. The temperature and abrasive cleaning agents will negatively impact the knife edges, causing them to dull prematurely. 2. Fine Edge Knives in the dishwasher can also vibrate/bang against other product in the dishwasher (eg. cutlery, glassware, plates etc.) or against the dishwasher racking. This contact can also prematurely dull the knife edges.
