Transient mouse-house

I have about six of these at the ready. Yes, they can be a little tricky to set and clean, but a little patience reaps rewards! I've caught dozens of mice with them and ergo dozens of trips offsite to let these creatures go. They are very humane and I get kick out of letting them loose - elsewhere, of course. They are well-sized and well-made. I don't mind the price as they've lasted over 10 years. That's really good bang for the mouse! Highly recommended and I'm giving them two thumbs up!

Works but easy to evade

First, only setup one side, keep the other one clamped shut. On the open side, put some heavy magnets to make for the trap door slams shut. Put bait (peanut butter and bread crumbs) on the trigger and over to the other side of the trigger, towards the closed trap door. Finally, go back to Canadian Tire and buy the Victor trap.
