My main concern about this product is the print on the bottle is so small you need a magnifying glass to read it. Just to let others know, it smells like wet pain when applied.

Q: Please can someone tell me, Is there pyrethrins and pyrethroids in it? I have read this can be toxic for cats.

A: This product does contain Phenothrin. Cats can be sensitive to Pyrethroids, including Phenothrin, but typically only when ingested. Pet bedding and treated areas should be allowed to dry completely before the pets return to the area. The product should NOT be applied directly to pets.

Q: Can this product be used to spray vehicles as a preventative measure for flea and tick transport? I.e. for those of us who take our animals hiking.

A: I presume you could, if your seats are made of fabric. I DO NOT recommend this on plastic or leather.

Q: When I spray my home with children , do I leave the home for a certain amount of time? Also can my baby still crawl around after.

A: It dries pretty quick, I used it on my couch, but I did not have to leave my home. I would be more cautious if I had a baby crawling around. Maybe wait 1-day and give the floors a wipe.

The Hartz UltraGuard Flea & Tick Home Spray can be used on a pet bed - Pet begging should be allowed to dry completely before pets return to their bedding area. Leave treated areas and do not return for at least one hour.
