Don't purchase if you use a dishwasher

I purchased 3 sets of this cutlery. After only 1 wash in the dishwasher, the knives started to pit and rust. After 1 week, all 12 knives had stains, rust spots and pits. The spoons were beginning to rust, too. Only purchase this if you intend to wash it by hand.

I just bought another set to add to my current set. I like the look and simplicity of the design, and since I don't use in a dishwasher (I don't have one) the finish still looks good!

Good price, fair product

I purchased two sets of for my everyday flatware. I liked the look and the price was better then I budgeted for. However, I was not aware that because of the polished finish, these were not suitable for the dishwasher. I found out the hard way. After 1 or 2 times in the dishwasher, the finish beacame pitted and I found brown spots on the other cutlery in the tray. Good product if you don't mind washing by hand.

My husband and I just recently purchased a home and we will be moving out on our own for the first time and that comes with many purchases for the house. This flatware is marked at a great price for someone in our situation.

A: The flatware is dishwasher safe provided it is handled correctly. Leaving the flatware in a sink to soak with acidic detergent can cause corrosion. Each set is equipped with care instructions to help ensure the flatware set is properly handled.
