Ce grille pain fait pas le travail, faut le réchauffer 3 cycles à vide pour avoir une rôtie blondie d'un côté et brûlée de l'autre. Toute une cochonnerie!!!

Didn't work out of the box

I purchased this toaster on Friday as our old (actually new - we bought it in July) was only toasting one side of our bread/waffles (no we did not have the bagel setting on). I stopped at Canadian Tire to get a new one, and purchased this one because it was on sale and seemed like a good value for a 4 slice toaster. I got it home, plugged it in and my husband proceeded to toast some frozen waffles. This toaster only toasted one side of the waffle! Same EXACT problem we had with the other toaster (different brand altogether). Straight out of the box it was defective. Packed it back up and it's going back today. Don't know if I'll even waste my time buying another toaster from CT. Both toasters were from CT with the same defect.

terrible quality

We bought this toaster two days ago and had problems from the get-go. The first use, the defroster setting button was on for some reason and wouldn't turn off. The second use, the toast wouldn't stay down. It is the box and will be returned tomorrow. It's a shame because my wife found it to be stylish, which really doesn't count for much if it is poorly made.

This toaster takes forever to toast! Larger size bread doesn't fit in this toaster unless the tops of the bread is sticking out. Doesn't toast both sides evenly.
