HALO® Bassinest™ Premiere Series Swivel Sleeper, Luna

I've been using the bassinest for two months now. A lot of reviewers on other websites complained of a tilt that caused their child to roll up against the mesh wall. Mine does this intentionally, in all sleep surfaces, as it is more womb-like to feel pressure on her face. The walls are 95% mesh and this does not concern me. The base legs are a huge pain though. They stick out way too far, making it a tripping hazard and difficult to move, especially through a doorway. Halo really needs to redesign them. I chose this model in part because of the adjustable height but found even the lowest height is too tall to align with our sofabed. The retractable wall wasn't useful either. You have to hold a button on each side to unlock it, which means your hands are tied up before even touching the baby. It's possible to hold the wall down with your elbows but this only works to get baby out, not back in. I haven't had much success with the features either. My baby doesn't seem to care for the vibration (unlike the snoo and other models that actually rock) and we opted to buy white noise machines to keep on all night rather than have them time out after 30 minutes (on battery). The bed surface is nice, the mattress pad washes easily and dries quickly. I do love the swivel to quickly move it around. Perhaps you could manually use it to rock the baby without picking them up.
