Q: Can this go straight from freezer to hot oven? I often freeze unbaked fruit pies and am looking for a ceramic dish that can go straight from the freezer into a hot oven (such as Emile Henry, but without spending the $$ if possible). Can the H2K pie dish go straight from freezer into hot oven?

A: We recommend allowing the dish to warm up a bit on the counter for about 20 minutes before exposing it from the extremely cold temperature of your freezer to a preheated oven. Our ceramic dishes are actually made in the same factory alongside EH's ceramic dishes, using the same materials in the same conditions, so your purchase is proving to be an economically wise purchase.
