Very Easy to Work With, Even if a Little Expensive

Very easy to straighten out. Used it to replace the rear brake line from about just under the driver's seat, around the fuel tank to the passenger rear wheel of a 1999 Camry, without any special bending tool. Just feed the lines through the gaps and it bends itself for the most part. The double flaring of the ends was also a breeze (with the Titan flaring tool)

Q: Are these lines DOT approved?

    1 Answer
    • A: All of our brake lines meet or exceed existing ASTM standards and various regulatory standards that need to comply with DOT requirements which include the two CTC product numbers 13-5956 and 13-5929. Copper Nickel brake lines and tubing products meets and/or exceed these standards: • Copper-Nickel Tubing, C70600 • ASTM specifications B111M and B466 for the use of copper nickel tubing (C70600) in automotive applications • SAE J1677 and J1650 surface vehicle standards for tests and procedures for carbon steel and low alloy steel tubing SAE testing and specifications. These are followed and applied for our copper-nickel coils and brake line assemblies for automotive aftermarket use. These tests are the same as the ones utilized for steel/poly-v tubing and assemblies as well.
