A: No. Uses 40v Greenworks battery. My lawnmower and weed trimmer are both Greenworks and their batteries are compatable.

Q: I have a Greenworks Trimmer using a 40V / 2.5 aH battery .... would this battery work in the Greenworks 12 inch chainsaw which specifies a 40V / 4 aH battery?

A: Hello Roger, Yes, everything pictured is included. The only thing not included with a bare tool is the battery and charger.

A: Hello Roger, This would depend on the battery being used. The amount of cuts on a fully charged 40v 4.0Ah battery is up to 150 cuts of 4x4 wood.
