This is a great exercise mat. I bought it looking for something thicker than a typical yoga mat to use on my laminate floor. It is a good thickness and comfortable, and nice looking design. It does not come with straps, so I made my own fabric ones with some D-rings. It does also move around a little bit as I'm exercising, but it's not too big of deal for me. I've had it for a few months now and still looks brand new.

A: No, this mat does not come with a strap. We do carry two types of straps that are sold separately under the Gaiam brand: 1) the slap band, and 2) the sling.
