Energy Star rated and IC rated for direct contact with insulation is what it states on the features list. IC rated is right on the front of the box.
on all four fixtures however there is a sticker clearly stating Risk of fire, not to install within 3" of any insulation. Nice.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Please note that this fixture is only IC rated when using a LED bulb if you were to be using a halogen bulb then it would no longer be IC rated due to the heat that is produced from halogen bulbs.
