    Failed after less than a year. I wasted hours

    I wasted hours trying to reset the device and get it connected to the app. My phone connects to set up the device, then the APP just spins for ever. I can no longer connect. Even with the app that appears up to date.

    While. The switches do connect to the network with a fair amount of ease... I don't. Feel that a beginner could do it without some help. Once the connection is made it is fairly seamless on smartphone controls or voice controls. However, When using the switches themselves for the light, Often the dimmer malfunctior sometimes not at all. I have several other plugs and switches of this brand and they are all pretty good. This is the first one i've run into with this problem.

    J’utilise des produits de Globe electric depuis quelques années et globalement, je suis satisfait. Par contre, pour cet interrupteur, je vraiment déçu. Il a fonctionné correctement pendant quelques jours et après il s’est mis à allumé les lumières n’importe quand. J’ai contacté le support et j’ai obtenu une réponse après 3 semaines .. qui n’a aucun résultat. J’ai donc remplacé l’interrupteur de Globe par un de marque Leviton ( qui fonctionne très bien ). Pour mes futurs achats, je vais considéré des produits de marque Leviton !

    Ai acheté 3 plaques murales dont 2 qui ont fonctionné pendant quelques jours puis les lumières se sont mises à clignoter sans raison. 3e plaque ne fonctionnait pas. J’ai du la retourner et en prendre une nouvelle qui ne fonctionnait pas non plus. Dans l’intervalle j’ai laissé 3 messages téléphoniques et un courriel. Je n’ai eu aucun retour. J’ai tout débranché et retourné. Globe ? Non merci !

    Au début tout fonctionnait bien. Puis tout à coup, les lumières se sont allumées seules. Plus moyen de les éteindre. Je veux recontacter mon gladiateur, mais rien n'y fait . Mon cellulaire le détectée mais Globe refuse de la connecter. Je suis tellement déçu par ce produit. Plus jamais Globe.

    Q: can this be used to dim standard lamps that are connected to an electrical outlet? The outlet on/off is controlled by a wall switch.

    • A: Maybe yes... The circuit needs its neutral wire also. You need to check if you have both L and N at the wall switch
