Purchased for my 5 year old. The wheels are smooth. You have to lean to turn but it’s like butter. It feels sturdy. The seat attachment isn’t too big to fit into a closet or shed in case you aren’t using it, quite space savvy.

A: Yes, this scooter has a brake. It is located on the rear wheel on the scooter deck. Child pushes their foot on the extra long composite rear brake.
