Q: What is the speed?
9 years agoA: The machine, 74-0255 (the General International 90-030) 10” Wood-Cutting Band Saw, has a wheel speed of 1134 rpm and a blade speed of 2920 linear feet (890 meters) per minute.

Q: Can this be used to cut light steel sheets? Are blades for cutting steel available? Does the whole table tilt 0 to 45 degrees? Are more pictures of the table available?
9 years agoA: No our model 90-030 10-inch WOOD CUTTING BANDSAW is not designed for cutting steel or any other metal. No we do not offer optional blades for metal cutting for this model: again because it is not made for cutting metal. FYI wood cutting bandsaws turn at much higher speeds than metal cutting bandsaws therefore if your customer is looking to cut steel sheets then they need to be looking for a metal cutting saw which turns much slower. Yes the entire table tilts 45-degrees. I’m sorry but we have no other photography on file at the moment for this saw.
