Both halves must touch exactly in precisely places

This thing is inconvenient in that the installation of the two halves must be very accurate. Both halves must touch in precisely defined places. No any gapes permited. I would like to return this product, since I have no way to install it so that the halves are in contact exactly with the labels applied to them. It's a pity.

Disappointed

I have all Geeni products and purchased these to complete the product line. Very disappointed as I purchased from CT online for pickup to save time. It was obvious that the original packaging had been opened & taped closed. Sales associate assured me it was fine. Here installing and Geeni app showing both sensor batteries are nearly dead so I’ll have to now purchase fresh batteries as CT saying package open so cannot return. Feel ripped off here.

For serious home automation, get something else!

Works okay, but not compatible with Apple HomeKit, Z Wave or other. Needs the proprietary application on your mobile device to work. I would not suggest buying these door sensors at that price. Opted for Fibaro, a bit more expensive but compatible with all good Home Automation systems and also give more infos about the room like the temp, etc.

No, I do not recommend this product.
