Perfect Camera

This camera has been a gem. Connected it with a solar panel and never have to charge it. I have it installed on a tree about 25 feet in the air and about 200meters away from the house when using an outdoor wifi extender. Worth every cent!

not a good fit

would'nt connect to my server due to it being 5g and not 2.4g, it is not stated on the box that it only uses 2.4g network. so its a worthless product

Geeni devices require a 2.4 GHz network. Please message us the model number, and we'll see if we can help you configure your router to support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks. A: Hello Bruce, Thank you for your question! The Geeni Freebird Cam does not require a memory card to function. Without a memory card, the camera will still send notifications when motion is detected, but it will not record footage. You have two options for storing recorded events: you can use an SD card for local storage, or you can choose to subscribe to our Cloud Service for remote storage. However, if you prefer not to use either of these options, you can still use the camera to monitor live footage through the app. For more information you can reach out to us at support@mygeeni.com at your earliest convenience.
