Hi Greg! We understand your frustration with the connectivity issues. These cameras require a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and are not compatible with 5 GHz networks. Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz network and that you're connecting the camera to that network during setup. Here are a few troubleshooting steps to try:
1) Check Router Settings: Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
2) Separate Network Names: Give your 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks different names (SSIDs) to avoid confusion.
3) Connect to 2.4 GHz: Make sure your smartphone or tablet is connected to the 2.4 GHz network during setup. MerkuryInnovations
