Thank you for sharing your feedback and we're sorry to hear about your experience. There is no standard "grey" color. We recommend testing for color suitability in an inconspicuous area or scrap material. ge-sealants

A: Thank you for your question. GE Concrete Silicone 2 Sealant is not rated as a self-leveling product. Depending on your specific application, you may wish to consider Loctite PL Concrete Self Leveling Polyurethane Sealant.

Q: Can I use this to seal between aluminum and concrete? Will it hold between -30C and +40C?

1 Answer
  • GE Sealants/Henkel Corporation

A: Thank you for your question. Yes, GE Concrete Silicone 2 Sealant can be used to seal between aluminum and concrete. However, the sealant should be applied when ambient temperatures are above 32°F (0°C) and below 120°F (49°C). Once fully cured, the service temperature is between -60°F to 400°F (-51°C to 204°C).

Q: Suggest a cement sealer for sidewalk and sides of pored steps- recently had the stairs drilled and pumped underneath liquid cement to raise the steps which had sunk 6 inches. Several gaps around steps and one on sidewalk- need a lot?

  • A: Used GE masonary sealant/caulk to fill gap from sidewalk to house. Working fine - suggest if you estimate needing 1 tube buy 2 - cracks always take more than you think.

Q: I'd like to use this to fix cracks in the grout between our patio stones. Once I remove the loose and crumbled grout, will it adhere directly to the remaining grout, or do I need to remove ALL the grout before using?

1 Answer
  • A: For best results all the old grout should be removed but not absolutely necessary. This product is designed to fill gaps no larger than a 1/4”. Product will adhere to the stones, no problem.
