The lock mechanism does not function in a logical way. To activate the lock you have to push on button on the other side of door and same to unlock. How are you supposed to do that with bathroom door shut????

Have you ever been locked in your own bathroom from an old, well-used door knob? Well, my mother has! I dropped kicked the door to rescue my mother, and after her panic had subsided, she asked for a new, more reliable replacement. Going to the local Canadian Tire, I saw this Garrison lever style lockset and knew that this would be perfect for my aging parents. With both of them having arthritis, this door handle would perform well as they use this washroom frequently. I strongly recommend this product.
