Looks nice but does not work smoothly. The handle seems to catch on the internal locking mechanism even when the handle is not locked. You can force it open with a lot of pressure but it is not smooth.

It works fine, but I don't like it. It hurts my hand every time I use it. I don't know if everyone will find it so, but for me, it's not very ergonomic.

Q: Is there a way to install this upside down (i.e. so the curve is up instead of downward). And can it be done without reversing the direction of the handle?

A: I think you would just need to purchase the opposite hand swing to what you need then install upside down.
