Mon conjoint la recu en cadeau.Nous sommes un peux décu par ce cadeau car il ne contien pas beaucoup de chose pas tres grand.Par contre pour quel qu'un qui a peu a metre dedant il peu etre bien.Ca dépend de l'usage!

There was a comment about this item that every safes can be opened with the same key and also it seem that 18-a is a pass that work on every unit, well he was wrong, I got 2 same exact model, I did reset the pass like it show you to do (by pressing the red button inside) and then 18a doesnt work anymore. and like I said same exact unit I tried the keys and I wasnt able to open my second one with my first keys.
My opinion, this is a good product, I'm able to put 12 mason jar in it without a problem (just to tell you how deep it is

our family bought three of these on large one and two smaller garrison safes, do not buy these, as even if you set your own code, the code 1-8A will open them all!!!! also the keys from the smaller ones open the larger one, so these safes are not SAFE !!!!

I bought this safe in April of 2009 and it seems to be a well built item. It does have the option of mounting it to a wall or to the floor which would help it be more secure. It's not fire proof but other than that it's a well built safe at an affordable price. I would give this product a 5 star rating.

A reasonable choice

On the upside, this safe is economically priced, solidly made, and looks good. On the downside, the keylock built in as an alternative to the keypad significantly compromises the overall security of the unit (the lock is cheap and I'm sure it could easily be picked or drilled out.) It's fine for keeping things out of reach of your kids, or keeping your roommate from using your laptop when you're out; but don't think for a second it will thwart any serious burglar. Finally, be aware that this safe offers no fire protection, and also that the combination must be reprogrammed every time you change batteries.

A: Yes, in a way. The Firearms Act and Criminal Code do not actually define what makes a Safe or Vault "Designed or Adapted for the storage of firearms", but many people use safes like this to store a handgun without an extra locking mechanism. Of course, you always run the risk of a policing agency disagreeing with your interpretation of the legislation so take my advice at your own risk.

A: Depending what you need. In order to be compliant with storage regulations, it will be enough. Check RCMP page for details: http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cfp-pcaf/fs-fd/storage-entreposage-eng.htm Especially: Attach a secure locking device so the firearms cannot be fired and lock them in a cabinet, container or room that is difficult to break into.

Q: How can I use back my code? My EA20 seems to behave like an ATM; after many attempts it locked itself out. My code seems not to work anymore. Each touch I press shows a red+yellow light and then I get a strange series of beep.

A: The A button means confirmation button, after you enter the codes, press the A to finish. B The B button is used to change the codes, when you enter the new codes, press B to finish.

Q: Garrison 4600350 Won't open and batteries no in it. Had to sit for awhile unopened and now can't get it open. Took plastic covering off on all spots but no place I can see to put key in, just like above picture, pls. advise, where is key hole??

Q: The numeric keypad on mine is now worn out. How can I get a replacement part? The bubble type buttons wear down after a while and no longer work. My safe is 8 years old and needs a new keypad. I use the key for now.
