Great thermostat, easy install
10 years ago
Updated our thermostats in the house - needed a non-programmable digital thermostat, so we bought 5 of these. Best part was the easy install - I installed all 5 within 30 minutes. They have a level on the inside casing to ensure that positioning on the wall is level and are very easy to use. Would highly recommend these.

Q: Tempearture Requirement? Worked until temps below 5. if temp is approx lower then 5 then "low c" will display & the "heat" setting shows. "on" will not display and no click is heard. The unit will not work until warmed up.

A: I just purchased this product about 6 months ago. It worked fine in the warm weather and now I am having the same problem as the temp is now below 0 as we are in December. Wanted to see if you found out how to fix this problem. Thanks

Q: My thermostat is always not working. I have replaced the batteries 3 times but it seems to still not show display. Qhat could the issue. The display works for a while after I change batteries and then it stops again and goes blank

A: Before the thermostate goes out does the battery light flash? Batteries in the proper direction? Could be something so simple as the contacts where the battery goes in not make good contact with the battery. Let me know

A: Le 52-2566 est compatible avec système millivolt, il fonctionnera sur le four qui génèrent et utilisent le signal millivolt pour contrôler le on / off du four. Notre thermostat agit comme un commutateur, il ne génère pas le signal millivolt. Habituellement, la norme industrielle est 750mV (0.75V) qui est généré par la thermopile à l'intérieur du four. Et le 52-2566 allume ou éteint cette tension pour contrôler la marche / arrêt du four. Du point de vue du thermostat, peu importe combien de millivolts. Quel que soit le millivolt généré par le four, le thermostat fonctionnera.

Q: For three wire heating system there is a red a black and a white wire. Which one goes on which terminal

A: On page 12 of instruction manual it will show 3 wire connection but we do not indicate color of wire. Instead we indicate where the wires are coming from so end user needs to know where wires are coming from instead of just color only.

Q: Is this thermostat power stealing type? I have 18/2 thermostat wires installed in my house - i.e. no "C" wire. I need to use a single of these thermostat to control two zone valves. I need to know if this thermostat is a power stealing type. Thanks.

Q: What is the temperature setting range? I see there are 2 other questions asking this, one of your answers says 0-60 degrees Celsius, the other says 5-35 degrees Celsius. I want to set my garage to 2 degrees Celsius, will this work?

A: This control will display temperature from 0-60 C but the temperature setting range is 5-35 C. You cannot set the temperature under 5 C on this control. Cannot be set for 2 degrees Celsius, 5 degrees is lowest option.

Q: Will it work on a fire place with only two wires -Black & white If so which terminals do you use.

A: Yes the 52-2566 can be used with a fireplace. You will need to hook to “R” and “W” terminal on the thermostat.
