I've had my instinct for 5 years and absolutely love it. Far as I'm concerned it payed for itself the first time I was chasing my dogs in the big swamp and it clouded over. It guided me out perfectly. It has literally saved my butt many many times since

Great until the past few weeks.

I bought my Garmin Instinct watch a few years ago and it has been mostly reliable, however for the past few weeks it keeps disconnecting from my Samsung mobile phone. Although it is relatively easy to pair the watch and phone it has been inconvenient, having to reconnect the watch most weeks. Other than this, this the Garmin Instinct has been very reliable, with ample daily health information.

Great watch for multisport enthusiasts

Great watch, use it from crossfit, cycling, running, and other sports. I have even used it in the surf. Can't beat the price. Garmin is quality and the app allows you to easily track progess and do challenges.

Q: Does this watch work with Strava? Can you upload your hikes/bikes/swims to strava?

A: The Instinct is compatible with Strava Segments. Segments are virtual race courses created by users that rank personal results against others in the Garmin Connect and Strava communities. Several Garmin devices have the ability to accept and store segments in the device.
