Everything you need for immediate hose connection to a garden hose for cleaning or watering tasks is included in the Premium Quick Connector Set from GARDENA. All connection parts belong to the Original GARDENA System, which allows you to attach to any connection devices. The modern, sophisticated design with high-quality metal-plastic finish, which guarantees you a high level of robustness, are excellent features. When using the Premium Water Stop, the practical Auto Water Stop function automatically comes into effect as soon as you change a connection device. The water flow is then interrupted during operation and only resumes when you firmly attach a new connection device to the hose. All components are especially comfortable to work with. Hose Connector and Water Stop have grooved grip recesses made of soft plastic, so that they can be held securely without slipping even with wet hands. All parts are frost-proof and are therefore suitable for year-round use. The set is made in Germany and GARDENA provides a warranty of 5 years. Das Original GARDENA System.

Plastic is better than metal

The metal fittings are susceptible to mineral buildup. In my experience the standard plastic fittings work best.

A: no, the word STOP doesn't appear on the connector. The ones I have do not stop water flowing when unplugged from the connecting hose. I do have some that have STOP written on them, and they will stop water when unplugged from the connecting hose (as long as the water is turned on)

Q: Are these drinking water safe? It's there any lead in this product?

A: No idea - only used for garden. Never thought about use for drinking water. These make tasks so much easier in the garden - but I would look elsewhere for CSA or Health Canada ratings on portable drinking water plumbing.
