Gardena Classic Hose Gun

The orange tab on the top of the hose gun finally broke off after 3 years. This whole thing is made of plastic, which makes it very light and won't cause fatigue after prolonged usage. But since the design of this hose gun requires a user to exert force to dial that tab in order to control the water flow, it is just a matter of time before the tab will break. I love this hose gun a lot because of it is light, simple, and very precise.

I had it for one summer and then it broke, does not provide enough pressure too.

I owned one for many years and loved it, until I lost it. I recently purchased a second one and after 3 weeks of use, something in the trigger mechanism is broken which does not allow me to use the orange locking clip. It is still useable, but I am disappointed in broke so quickly. I still love Gardena products, their connection mechanism is second to none.

Of the numerous Gardena 'plug and play' components I use during our 3 seasons, this simple hose gun works well for filling up watering cans, etc. I have it attached to a short, 6 foot hose in my garage - for handwashing, filling up watering cans and buckets and then use the more 'deluxe' model for my 300 foot hose. Depending your requirements, you may also want to consider the extended wand watering unit if you plant vertically or have many hanging baskets and I also recommend the high-end Gardena sprinkler units. Buy shut off valves and several spare male/female pieces, as well as Gardena-specific washers and you're all set for any purpose/use! The only negative to pass along is that with this hose gun and some of the other products, the plastic can split or crack but this is only the 2nd replacement for this model in about 10-12 years so I don't consider that too bad... I also have a high-end, heavy, all brass Lee Valley hose gun with multiple attachments but I'm not convinced that it's any better than the Gardena products. Hope this is helpful!
