Q: I just bought the garden kneeler and seat. I opened it no problem but can’t fold it down. Is there a step I’m missing?

A: Grasp the bar , that has the two springs connected to it and pull it towards the outside of the legs, that will disengage the two pins on either side allowing the legs to swing back under the seat. Repeat on the second side.

A: It’s about a foot and half to seat. So if you a reaching to ground level, then yes, you will be leaving over a lot. If you are working with taller plants, then it would be a good reach.
