Q: What grade of carbon steel is used; 1045, 1050, ? Also where is the axe head made ( country of origin) ? Is the cutting edge hardened? Thanks in advance.
5 years agoA: The grade of steel is 1045. The axe head is forged and tempered for hardness. The axe head is made in China but the tool is assembled in Quebec, Canada.
