I've used this and the window version (both the 1.5mm thick) and they really help. I have noticed that the tape doesnt hold well in the cold, I install it on the inside on my patio door. My laminate floor is so cold though the tape doesnt adhere well. Even though its a bit ugly I put wide painters tape down to avoid the double sided tape from peeling the paint in the spring. I also use tuck tape on some areas where I cant get a good seal. Make sure to check your seals every so often through the winter. Definitely makes the house less drafty!
