This is a Christmas gift for my daughter and hoping it will eliminate the air coming through the bottom of the door. It's cute and has weights on each end to help it stay in place. Will find out after Christmas

Better than nothing, but wish it was better

It was the only option available, so it's better than nothing. However, the "beans" are only at the ends, so it doesn't have enough weight throughout, to stay flush against the gap. Plus the neutral colour hasn't worked out well for us. Family members keep forgetting it's there and open the door, which then gets stuck partway. If it was a bright colour, it would be more noticeable so folks would consistently remove it before opening the door.

Much better than plastic versions, also muffles noise.
I suggest that the manufacturer also provides holes (the way tarps have holes at the corners, but tinier) in the fabric to attach the item to the bottom of the door.
