Years ago I bought a chamois-like orange cloth at the Better Living building at the CNE with my sister. We both cut the large cloth into several smaller ones and absolutely loved them for their durability, water retention and we used them to wipe and clean so many things! This copycat cloth is only like it in appearance! Very disappointed!!!

A: Make sure your car is clean (freshly washed) and it will take the water droplets off nicely, but like any type of cloth, if it or the surface you are moving it across is dirty, it can cause scratches.

Q: Does this remove wax Does this cloth remove wax like the original chamois. I'm looking for a cloth to dry the vehicle without removing the wax coat.

A: Ideally when using Jumbo Chamease, you want to first pre-wash it in the washing machine. This speeds up the break-in process for the serious car enthusiast. Avoiding the dryer when using it to dry cars is also advisable. First get it wet and wring it out. Then by using a gentle pulling action it will remove the water and not the wax. Usually is takes rubbing to remove wax. But if the Jumbo Chamease is broken in, it will be soft and gentle. Also, by using a pulling action rather than a rubbing action, you should have fantastic results.
