Not waterproof

Not waterproof! My first night wearing it for work under shelter most of the shift just walking between areas and my thighs were wet and upper body pretty damp. Also the hood comes unbuttoned really easily and the hood only covers half a hard hat.

good cold weather motorcycle suit

i bought this suit and immediately tested the waterproof-ness in my shower at full blast. i was very surprised to see absolutely no water ingress in the fabric. i started using this as my bad weather motorcycle suit as the heavy fabric doesn't flop around in 100km/h wind, is 100% air and water proof. after a full year of heavy use (about 8500kms of rain and storm) it is still working as i expected. some spot on the neck area started to turn black and the waist elastic broke after about 3000kms of use, except that it is perfect. no trouble with the pockets either, they are closed only by a snapped up flap but no water enter inside. the neck tube is very long and prevent water from entering from this zone. OVERALL: this is a perfect suit and is well worth the price.

Doesn't keep you dry

I went looking for a rain suit for occasional use, I don't work outside all day when its raining, but an hour or 2 here and there does happen from time to time. So I spent a bit more and purchased this 'storm fighter' brand rain suit. -I think it worked ok the first time or two. -But now it may as well be made out of screen door material. The pants anyways, where water runs off the coat onto your thighs it saturates into the pants in no time. Far from water proof. -The hood is small and never stays up either. -And Ill agree with the other reviewer, if you need to do any amount of walking you better add suspenders or something, because the pants want to slide down constantly. Junk suit!
