Badly designed

We bought two of these light fixtures to replace existing fixtures mounted over the mirrors above our bathroom sinks. The old fixtures hung down and lighted the sinks and counter area, as they should. These new items can only be mounted in an upright position because the glass globes are held in place by gravity. The fixtures light up the ceiling very well, but the sink and mirror beneath them are in a shadow. So, unless you prefer shaving or your wife likes applying makeup in the dark, these really are not the light fixture for you. There may be a place for them elsewhere but definitely not in a bathroom over a mirror.

No, I do not recommend this product.
