do not buy this. the box says it can be installed as a hugger but it cannot. instructions do not tell you how to install it as a hugger. we wasted an hour trying to figure out. waste of time and money, going to return it.

Got 2 on sale at a fantastic price! Easy and logical assembly; looks sharp, no wiggle when fan set on high and moves a ton of air. Perfect for what I needed!

Great Quality, Difficult To Install and Setup

I was a bit skeptical with the current(2.7) review. But I loved the design so I bought it anyways. I found it was really well constructed and I loved the matte black.
The price was great.
The first installation took me 2 hours and I had to create my own support system for connecting wires (the wire loop that came with the system was far too long and I couldn't connect the wires). Installing the final screws was a pain at first as well, although again I found my own solution to the problem.
These are the reasons it's not 5 stars, along with a humming sound. Although I did get the humming down quite a bit with the balancing kit.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A: I just purchased and installed this fan (model 052-9141-6). I see nothing in the owner's manual that mentions dimming is possible. The toll free number for inquiries is: 1-877-483-6759. Hope that helps !

A: only if the blades wont hit the ceiling because the fan hangs straight down and the fan will run with the light off

A: You could install without putting the light bulb in the fixture but there is no way to separate the fan from the light fixture.
